Price swings hard with location: a room two blocks off Parque Lleras can cost half what the same room costs on the park, and you’ll sleep better for it. If you’re here to go out, anything within a few blocks of Lleras or Provenza works; if you want quiet, aim for Manila or the streets above Calle 10 and accept a 10-minute walk to the bars.
Book weekends and Colombian holidays well ahead — El Poblado fills up and the good-value rooms go first.
